Minnesota Hockey Fights Cancer is entering into its fourth season, from October through March, of energizing the Minnesota hockey community in the fight against cancer. The hope is that as with every previous season that this will be the biggest season ever, measured both by players involved and funds raised.
The biggest difference with this year’s campaign is that in addition to our continued support of the American Cancer Society of Minnesota, we are also helping associations, high schools and teams that want to pick their own cancer related cause while maintaining the same support and benefits of participation.
Since we are reaching out to more hockey teams than ever, we wanted to provide a simple guide that explains who we are, what we do and provides some ideas for a successful campaign based on the successes that teams have had over the past three years.
